  • Legislative Activity & Political Activity

One of the most important activities of The Auxiliary is their involvement in political activity. The Auxiliary’s efforts started long before the 1993 Hatch Act reform which lifted the restrictions on federal & postal workers. The Auxiliary remains committed to furthering the legislative goals of the APWU.  Now, more than ever, we must engage our friends, families, neighbors and communities in our efforts to maintain a United States Postal Service that serves the needs of every citizen regardless of where they live.  Universal Service at a Universal Price should always be our priority  - and we should never be motivated by profit.
