BRIDGE BUILDERS NOMINATION PROCESS

We are happy to announce that the Bridge Builder award is catching on. And by simplifying the nominating process we know many more nominations are possible. All it takes is an active member taking a few minutes to find that deserving individual in their local or state.

The form supplies us with sufficient Auxiliary information or APWU support of the Auxiliary.  The optional letter gives you the opportunity to expand on the qualifications and outstanding efforts of your proposed nominee.

The Bridge Builder form by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.

If you are one of those who wish to send your  nomination by email, please drop me a line and I will email the form to you. Or, you can download a copy in word from this website.

You can save it to disk and have it for future nominations as well. Or, you can print a copy in from this adobe pdf link:

Select your format:

Adobe PDF

Microsoft Word

Microsoft Excel

You can also nominate two people who have served on a committee for an APWU/Auxiliary function  - if you feel that both should receive the award for that year, write a separate letter, explaining why you feel that both should receive the award.

The members of Executive Board will consider your nominations and make a decision based upon your letter.

That date is : DECEMBER 31 of each year.

As chair, this gives me pleynt of time to get the nomination letters and question form to the Board members in a timely manner. This will give the Board members more time to read thru the letters and to make the right decision on whom should receive the award.

So, mark your calendars and get those letters sent in and be sure to include the new form.

Letters must be postmarked, no later than DECEMBER 31 of 2007. Send them to
