The
Auxiliary to the American Postal Workers Union

We are a grassroots organization uniting the friends, families and retirees of
the members of the American Postal Workers Union. United by common goals and
interests, Auxiliary members are engaged in the kind of community and civic
involvement
that is necessary to present the best possible image of labor to the
American People.
The Auxiliary stresses both political and philanthropic work.
Without their help, the APWU would be unable to carry out many of the time
consuming
"nuts and bolts" activities essential to the success of our union.

2008 National Convention - Las Vegas
Nevada, Bally's and Paris Hotel
We are in the process of planning the 2008
National Convention. It will again be an event to remember. Aside from the
routine convention business, we will have the opportunity to submit resolutions
setting direction for our Auxiliary during the next two years. Additionally we
will elect all officers of the Executive Board -- and any Auxiliary member in
good standing may seek election to office.
Resolutions should be discussed and acted upon locally and / or statewide -- and
submitted to the National President and Secretary. The deadline will be
published soon. It's not too early to begin discussing possible resolutions.
